About page for Blair Nicole

Hi there, I’m Blair Nicole— CEO, therapist, author, and self-proclaimed force to be reckoned with.

Now that the shameless self promotion is out of the way, let’s get to the important stuff—I’m also a world traveler, wife, mother, enthusiastic mental health advocate, and lover of holiday sweaters.

I wholeheartedly believe that connection holds massive potential for healing, and that together we can accomplish so much more. I also believe that exploring the world, both internally and externally, can transform lives.

For the past 5 years, I’ve been on a journey of self-discovery, healing from complex trauma, and reconnecting with my true self.

Blair Nicole silly

In 2010, I was a broke soon-to-be single mom who had just lost her job, her home, and (arguably) her mind. While I was pregnant and sleeping in twin-sized racecar bed at my dad’s house (yeah, you read that right!), I took a leap of faith and launched a Public Relations agency.

I had absolutely no background in PR, and learned almost everything I needed to know from Google. But, I had a feeling the risk would be worth the reward.

I was right.

Since then, I’ve worked with clients across three continents, have been featured on national TV, and my work has been mentioned in the biggest media outlets in the world including: Forbes, Entrepreneur, and HuffPost

My success in the PR world has afforded me the amazing opportunity to travel the world as a digital nomad, and the freedom to finally settle down in sunny San Diego.

While I appreciate the lifestyle it has given me, I also want more than than accolades and material success. And, hustle culture definitely isn’t for me.

I’ve always had a calling to help others.

Mental health has been a cause close to my heart for over a decade. I’ve lost several loved ones to suicide, and previously served on the Board of Directors for a peer-led suicide survivor support group. But, when my husband was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) in 2019 I knew that I needed to get more involved.

That’s when I knew I wanted to help others as a career. That’s also when my own inner work truly began.

In 2023, I graduated with an MA (Masters) in Counseling Psychology, and became registered as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) in the state of California. Since then, I have worked work clients providing trauma therapy and addiction recovery therapy.

Although I have realized that working in the confines of traditional therapy isn’t really my style, I do want to continue to inspire and help others. That’s what brought me back to writing and coaching.

I hope that by sharing my journey, I will inspire meaningful conversation around important topics, and perhaps help others feel less alone.

My personal goal is to dismantle stigmas, to normalize talking about our struggles, and to create a space for connection.

We’re all doing the best we can, and we’re in this together!

Thanks for being here 🙂
